Our Philosophy

We believe US manufacturing does not have to be lost to cheap overseas factories. We have witnessed overseas manufacturing trade high quality for mass production and low standards. With over 20 years in Quality Management, we decided to bring quality home and establish a New England based cottage industry, to counter-balance manufacturing trends abroad. "I come from 4 generations of skilled craftswomen. My Great Grandmother, the first in the line, encouraged me to "do something women don't typically do." With that advice, I became a chemical engineer but found myself returning to my first love, sewing and design.

"My Grandmother instructed me in the art of tailoring, and my Mother taught me to design my own doll clothes before I was 10 years old. My mother never creates the same thing twice because she loves the challenge of design and innovation. I may be the first to "go public" with my creations, but I do so with the knowledge and skills of the prior three generations who have taught me so much."
